The Grand Olde Firetruck

Through the efforts of many talented individuals, we were able to restore an original Lake Toxaway 1940s American LaFrance firetruck. The fire truck is a warm addition to Grand Olde Station, bringing the town’s history back to life.

 

Restoring our fire truck and sharing its story is important to us, because we want to celebrate the heritage of Toxaway while educating the young and old that come to visit. We are proud of the work everyone has put in to restore the truck, and we proudly display it at Grand Olde Station.
